I see that there is quite a bit a problems with anime (not so good animation even in the ones praised for it, unoriginal style, cuts corners a lot, and such). Alright the reason why Japan doesn't really "change" the style of their artwork is because Japan is only inhabited by the fucking Japanese. While America is quite diverse and filled with many "minorities".

The reason for not so good animation and the corner cutting is these: One of the reasons are that anime companies don't really make a lot of money thus hurting the quality of the animation. Second, They put more focus on the style rather than the animation. American cartoons look fairly bland in art style but they put more focus on animating the character. An example is when anime characters talk they only tend to move their mouths and are static in movement because it is cheaper. While in American cartoons they move while they talk and they don't reuse their images so much as in anime. Third reason is because anime tries too hard to emulate manga. Thus they have a lot of flashy movement in random moments and then there is moments of pause. Sometimes in the more shittier ones they even talk and not fight!

Anyways I hope my intent was brought across and to show some of the reaons why anime is well anime. I do like anime, quite a lot actually but I do not like the harems, romantic "comedies", cliched coming of age stories (unless over the top like all hell). I will not list them because that is wankery.
